Time to break in those composite bats for the new season!!!!
Used and new bats can both benefit from bat rolling.
The bat rolling techniques I use will break in the entire barrel of your composite bat by breaking up the resin that makes the fibers stiff. This is especially helpful for younger players that are not strong enough to break in a composite bat themselves. It takes anywhere from 200 to 500 or more swings to break in the barrel of a composite bat FOR AN ADULT and, even then, the barrel will be broken in unevenly. Uneven break-in causes dead spots in the transition from loose to stiff fibers which, in turn, causes miss hits and cracks. The main benefit of this service is being able to use a fully broken in bat before it is too worn out and has to be replaced. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Please also note that using a rolled bat in most league play is illegal so consult with a league representative before taking advantage of this service.
